All over the media, albeit the Internet or the television or the radio, the world through National Breast Care Awareness Month is focused not only on the early detection and the treatment of breast cancer, but also the ultimate goal of prevention.
According to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure®, breast cancer will affect more than 230,480 women and 2,140 men, ultimately causing the death of over 39,000 women and 450 men this year in the US. In addition, 1.6 million new cases were detected worldwide in 2010.
Our team at Hascall & Hall encourages everyone to do what you can to help in the fight to find the cause and cure for the number #1 cancer in women—in October and all throughout the year.
